As most of my readers know, I use to have a blog called A Londoner’s Closet before I created Style Cam. And seeing as it is our last flashback Friday before we enter 2014, I wanted to show you some of my fave looks from A londoner’s Closet.

Today is most definitely a track pants type of day. For me, this means my silk trousers from Zara. Whenever they come out in different colours of prints i have to get them! I cannot bare to leave the house in actual tracksuit bottoms, and these gorgeous trousers are a perfect alternative. Going all black today i paired a plain black t-shirt from Topshop. I got all the basic colours as soon as this style came out. I love the rolled up sleeves and the rounds neck. As stupid as it sounds i think it is so hard to find thee perfect plain t-shirt – that doesn’t make you look too frumpy either!
To add a little something something to my mega plain outfit, i put on one of my favourite statement necklaces from Zara. This season they have some fab accessories so i highly advise you to keep a look out! I love the fact that this necklace is both gold and silver, meaning i can really mix and match my braclets. I put on my usual Tory Burch black wrap, that also comes in an array of beautiful colours that i will be sure to purchase more of and stack them during summer, and my little gold cuff from Henri Bendel.
To add a little colour i wore my neon perspex heels from Boohoo, these come in other colours so be sure to check them out – perfect for summer! To add a little something to the bottom of my trousers i put on my favourite accessory, the gold ankle cuff, these ones are from Harper & Mason’s. Also from Harper & Mason’s, i finished with my perspex clutch bag!

I did have second, third or fourth thoughts about wearing shorts today, but after running around all morning i definitely made the right decision. I stuck on one of my favourite silk tops from Zara, this is very breezy but super super cute – and i love the all the detailing on the front! I put a small gold choker on the collar from Topshop to dress it up a little.
I also wore my Abercrombie & Fitch shorts, see how i also styled them here. As said in an older blog post, these denim shorts used to be full length jeans and as time went on i they then gradually became cropped which then became long shorts which now are these very cute short shorts. And sadly they will have had their day soon! I used sand paper to sand the front of the shorts to create the laddering effect and normal kitchen scissors to cut the length.
These leather boots are from Office shoes, but i have put a link to similar ones sold at Boohoo where you can purchase them for more than half the price – and are nearly identical. The low heel on these boots make them perfect for day time, and i love the studded detail which is all over the boot.
To accessories i wore my Cheap Monday cat eyed sunglasses from Asos, and my black wrap from Tory Burch! To finish i used my new Zara bag which is ridiculously convenient and has a department for everything – gone are the days that us girls use to spend digging and eventually emptying the entire contents of our handbags out just to find our lipstick!

Feeling very casual today i wanted to wear a t shirt. And what better one to wear than my ‘party and bullshit’ graphic tee of Biggie from Urban Outfitters. This one is actually a mens XS but is a perfect fit! Very happy because Urban Outfitters do the best t shirt range for men!
I recently brought this gorgeous leather skirt from Zara, it features two pockets and is a perfect fit! Prepare to see a lot more outfit posts featuring this bad boy!
To add a little something something to the outfit, and considering there was a little red in the t shirt, i decided to sling on this old flannel shirt around my waist – 1, to bring in the outfit, to create a more flattering shape and 2, to add some colour! I popped a simple gold choker on the collar of the t shirt to some glam! (I also added my favourite accessory right now, Harper & Mason’s gold ankle cuffs!) To finish, my choice of shoe is my head turning buckle up platforms from Boohoo. Although they may look otherwise, these shoes are surprisingly comfortable, and super super cute!

Sorry i didn’t do any outfit posts over the weekend i caused a bug and was in my one piece the whole time. Nothing exciting about that! But back to face the week, still with a very high temperature meant that i was the only person in London in a pair of shorts!
This ragged jumper from Miss Guided has quickly become my favourite and i need to purchase it in black asap! It is ridicously comfortable and just very cute! I paired it with my very old Abercrombie & Fitch jeans. What use to be full length jeans many years ago have now become/becoming mini mini shorts. I love short shorts. I cut them with a pair of kitchen scissors (sorry mum!) and made the bald patches at the front with some sand paper i found in the garage! Sadly, my favourite pair of shorts won’t be around much longer!
Having very little balance right now i thought my safest bet was to wear trainers. This means pulling out my favourite wedge trainers by Jeffrey Campbell. I paired these with some fab ankle cuffs, sold at Harper & Mason’s. I also accessorised with an old favourite of mine, the Topshop eagle necklace. This has been released in a number of different styles throughout the year so it is still in stores. To compliment my edgy yet relaxed look i slung on my Cheap Monday sunnies - even though there has been no sun all day, to cover up my horrendous sore eyes. Lets face it, no one actually wears sunglasses to protect our eyes, do we?! I slung on some of my every day bracelets that are nice and easy and also put on this gorgeous new ring, also from Harper & Mason’s! To finish, i used this gorgeous bag from Zara. Big enough to fit a laptop in it and you hardly feel the extra weight - perfect!

For me, today is most definitely a lazy day! I didn’t want to wear anything skin gripping, i wanted a comfortable and an oversized outfit! I have had these dungarees from Miss Guided for so long now and never got the chance to wear them. Today i wore them with this oversized top from Topshop, rolling up one sleeve and un-buttoning one side of the dungaree to give my outfit an ’on the run’ look. This top also comes in an array of different colours in Topshop (Miss Guided and Asos also have similar tops)
These heels from Boohoo dressed up the outfit, see how i style them with another outfit here. I do have a pair of converse in my bag for emergency! To accessories i put on my new ankle cuffs, which are sold at Harper & Mason’s.
I added this orange suede clutch bag from American Apparel. It is perfect for those of you who are anything like me, the zip to close the clutch is an absolute life saver! To finish i wore my cat eyed Cheap Monday sunglasses to give the outfit some edge.

Hoping and praying for the sun to come out i decided to get the pins out and jump into a pair of shorts – whatever the weather! I also had just purchased these gorgeous shorts from Miss Guided and when they came on next day delivery i was dying to wear them – sun or rain! (In my defence, it was a stuffy day so i got away with it!)They are soft denim and cut in all the right places, they also come in various other colours which i will purchase! I decided to pair my new favourite shorts with this gorgeous crochet vest top from Asos. The colour slightly differs from what is displayed on their website but i am still completely in love with it and cannot wait to wear it on the beach thrown over a bikini! Keeping it simple i decided on my nude sandals from Zara, the simplicity of these adds a flirty summer feel to the outfit! To finish i wore my round, perspex sunglasses. Please take a moment to pray i don’t get rained on.
Talking of Miss Guided’s next day delivery, as mentioned in a previous post i was never a fan of these new low priced shopping sites. But the same friend that introduced me to Boohoo, introduced me to Miss Guided. Again, i was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the products and the service is outstanding. Upon delivery you receive texts with every movement of your order – this has definitely saved my ass a few times now where i have been out and got a text telling me my delivery will be with me in 1-2 hours. Naturally i leave wherever i am and wait for the delivery man like a child waits for Santa! The only down side to Miss Guided is that they take your payment before telling you that an item is out of stock. You then have to go through their usual returns procedure. But that isn’t enough of a problem for me to stop checking their site on a daily basis!
- SOCCER MOM -
Metallic top - Zara
Tailored trousers - Asos, exact here
Heels - Zara, exact here
Transparent clutch – Harper & Mason’s, exact here
Today i was feeling very soccer mom’esque. I decided on this oversized metallic top from Zara that i brought last year and only ever wore with white shorts at the beach! When i received these gorgeous trousers from ASOS in white and black (see how i styled them here) i was quick to purchase another pair. This lime green was the only other colour they had, i was a bit unsure of it at first but thought they would be great for summer. When it comes. These tailored trousers are very comfortable and a really nice fit. They are high waisted, but look great with tops tucked into them. They also fit really nicely at the ankles. Here i wore my strappy nude Zara sandals, very subtle and ridicously comfortable and the short heel makes it easy to run around! The transparent envelope clutch is fast and easy, and dresses up any outfit. Great to have your essentials in so when it is in your handbag, your important bits are in one place! To finish i wore these fab rounded perspex sunglasses to compliment my clutch – not to shield my eyes from the non-existent sun.

Bomber jacket - MissGuided, exact here
Crop top - Topshop
Silk trousers - Zara
Wedge trainers - Jeffrey Campbell
Sunglasses – Cheap Monday (Asos), exact here
We all have those off days, and for me, today has started off exactly like that - i am feeling exhausted so it was time to get the sweat pants out. Yes mine are silk - diva. I’ve also gone for this gorgeous white leather bomber jacket from Miss Guided, featuring a metallic sleeve. I am mad about metallic at the moment and wanted to incorporate it into my outfit to brighten it up slightly, plus, i love the contrast in this jacket! As it should be the start of summer i decided to wear this white crop top, featuring two leopards - cute and adds to my Hugh Hefner silk pants! To finish, and wanting to stay comfortable, i wore my wedge trainers. All black so that no focus is pulled from my bomber!

Top - Topshop
Belt - Forever21
Skirt - Zara
Platform heels - Boohoo
Transparent clutch – Harper & Mason’s, exact here
I am a sucker for a graphic tee, and just as i was about to reach for the boyfriend jeans the sun shone through my closet window – i leapt for this tailored red skirt and to add a little something to the waist, i added a skinny waist belt. I understand that some t-shirts can make you look a little frumpy, by adding the belt it pulls your waist in giving you your shape back!
Myself, being a heel obsessed kind of girl, grabbed these suede buckle up platform heels, some might say they are a little dramatic for day but i am only lunching with friends! - Plus they are so comfy!
The bright colours in the graphic tee and the eye popping red skirt compliment this transparent envelope clutch bag – which i am finding very hard to part with at the moment.
To finish i wore my cat eye cheap monday sunglasses.

The weather in London has been bipolar for the last week. I spent the best part of today pulling over, one minute my roof was off , the next it was on – a mile down the road and it was coming off again.
I wanted to stay minimal today, deciding on white on white, with these fab neon heels to stand out from the crowd a little. All white is my favourite at the moment – a far cry from my usual all black outfits!
I love the texture contrast here with this silk tank top, very light for the little sun we did have today. I paired this with a pair of my favourite tailored trousers, they have a black block stripe down the side – this certainly adds a sports luxe feel to my soccer mum look. I love neon but i never knew what way to go with the trend, i soon decided on these shoes (which also come in three other colours!) I can’t get enough of perspex right now – for me these shoes are a definite head turner. I went a little perspex mad today and wore my round sunnies, and to match i showcased my transparent envelope bag which is by yours truly. To finish i wore this gorgeous statement necklace which brings some attention to the top half of the outfit, i wore my usual arm candy!
